Cable Installation Contract in Abu Dhabi Awarded to Jan De Nul Group and Samsung C&T
A cable installation contract which encompasses the design, installation, burial and protection of two cables in an area of Abu Dhabi to connect in the Arabian Gulf was recently awarded as part of another larger Subsea Transmission System (Lightning Project).
Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), Electricité de France (EDF) and Kyushu Electric Power Japan collectively awarded the contract to Belgium-based Jan De Nul Group and Samsung C&T to complete the HVDC cable installation.
