Rig Agreement Granted by Maersk Drilling for Aker BP Contract
5 Year Agreement Extended to Aker BP from Maersk Drilling Worth $1 Billion
On December 18 it was announced that a 5 year agreement was granted by Maersk Drilling for Aker BP ASA to use the Maersk Integrator and Maersk Invincible rigs for work in offshore Norway.
The contract is valued at $1 billion.
Maersk Drilling CEO Jørn Madsen in a statement, “We are absolutely delighted to re-affirm our commitment to Aker BP for another five years and to secure major scope additions during these five years.”
