Foiled attack: Coalition destroys Houthi explosive-laden boat
An allegedly Iranian-backed Houthi explosive-laden boat has been destroyed by the Arab coalition.
Dryad Global reports that the Arab Coalition says that it has destroyed a Houthi explosive-laden boat before an imminent attack of the Yemeni coastal village of as-Salif.
In a statement, the coalition said: “Yemen’s Houthis continue to threaten maritime traffic and international trade and are using the Stockholm Agreement as an umbrella for the attacks from the Hodeidah Governorate.”
Earlier in the day, a drone launched by Houthi militia was destroyed as it was heading towards Saudi Arabia’s Khamis Mushait, the coalition said. The latest attacks come less than 24 hours after two missiles were fired towards Khamis Mushait on Monday evening.
