Borr Drilling Secures a Southeast Asia Deal
New Deal Secured for Borr Drilling
In securing a deal with a still unidentified operator in Southeast Asia, Borr Drilling announces it has obtained a letter of award (LOA) with them for the Mist drilling rig.
Once the LOA becomes an official contract, it entails the fleet is expected to increase to 15 rigs.
Expecting the commencement in November 2021, the drilling campaign is set to continue for seven months or more with options if needed as the CEO of Borr Drilling Patrick Schorn anticipates a total of 17 rigs to be operating by the end of this year.
