TS Lines Expands its Boxships Fleet
TS Lines orders four boxships at Mawei Shipbuilding
Since last year, TS Lines has steadily added to their fleet, and by 2024, the company is expected to own a fleet of over 40 vessels.
In an effort to continue their growth, their most recent order is the latest version of the 1,100 teu containerships, developed by Shanghai Ship Design and Research Institute (SDARI), to be ready for China-Japan shipping routes.
The vessels will be 147.9 m long and 23.25 m wide, and can accommodate 1,140 twenty-foot containers.
