Three countries have come together in a recent agreement in efforts to curb China’s interest and presence in the Indo-Pacific region.
“Aukus” which combines the abbreviation of all countries names into one, is a new security agreement signed by the leaders of the UK, US and Australia. The plan is to share defense information, technologies and nuclear-powered submarine procedures and information.
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson stated, “This partnership will become more and more vital to defend our interests and protect our rights.”
