450 kilograms, approximately $140 million in street value of heroin was discover by Australian authorities after being tipped off by recognizing a specific logo of branding on the boxes.
Upon searching the shipping containers that had originally arrived from Malaysia and discovering the 1,290 packages of heroin, authorities in Melbourne arrested a Malaysian man and charged him with importing and attempted possession of a controlled substance which carries a life sentence.
