Crewmembers Injured in Containership Blaze
Containership Catches Fire at Yemen Port
On April 11th, a fire broke out on a containership at the Port of Aden in Yemen, leaving five of its Indian crewmembers injured.
The fire is believed to have originated from the vessel’s engine room. The ship- Joshi Samdani, was transiting to the Port of Berbera in Somalia, and is believed to be based in India.
It is unclear what caused the fire.
