Indian Navy Investigating Bomb Threat
On Monday, September 6 the Kerala Police and Ernakulam South Police confirmed that the Cochin Shipyard was the receiver of an email sent anonymously expressing threats to bomb the INS Vikrant, which is India’s first air craft carrier to be built in India. The ship has already been performing sea trials and is still undergoing updates.
Approximately 2 weeks ago the shipyard received the anonymous email threat to blow up the INS Vikrant which has prompted various central agencies like Kochi Police, Kerala Police, Ernakulam South Police and more to open investigations into possible terrorism.
