Freight rates increased rapidly in the shipping industry during 2021 and as a result, Wan Hai Lines recorded records of earnings for the year which in turn, benefits its employees at bonus time.
According to a source, a full one year salary and an additional TW$1 million (est US$36,093) bonus was given to employees of Wan Hai Lines.
