Construction to Begin for New Feeder Terminal at Busan New Port
South Korea’s Busan New Port to Get Dedicated Feeder Terminal
Feeder Vessels have been routed to South Korea’s Busan North Port even though Busan New Port has the capacity to tend to large vessels.
Now, to aid in the reduction of logistics and trucking costs, Busan New Port is expected to get its own dedicated feeder terminal with the lower portion expected to open in 2024 and the upper in 2025.
The lower section of the feeder terminal is being built by DL E&C.
A $66.05 million dollar budget has been allocated to the project build.
