Carbon Capture Project Awarded to Xodus

Petronas has hired energy consultancy Xodus to develop and carry out their first project with total carbon capture and storage (CCS). Xodus will perform feasibility studies and preliminary design development under the agreement. 

CO2 is to be captured and processed from the sour gas field development, and then injected into a depleted gas field as part of the Kasawari CCS project, off the coast of Sarawak. 

Xodus won the contract as part of the operator’s Malaysia and international development projects to provide engineering services.
