Man Jumps from Cruise Ship in the U.S.

At approximately 12:30am local time on April 16 near the Florida coast, a 43 year old man is reported to have jumped overboard on a Carnival Cruise Line cruise ship while heading to Port Canaveral, as it was returning from its Caribbean voyage.

A search was ensued by the U.S. Coast Guard using the help of two Coast Guard cutters, but as of recent reports there has been no findings.

A spokesman from Carnival stated, “The Carnival Care Team is supporting the guest’s family.”
