Iron Ore Spikes in China Imports

China Imported 104m Tonnes of Iron Ore in November
Customs data shows how China’s imports of iron ore in the recent months have increased extensively breaking a 16 month high record.
Although it is already recognized globally as the world’s biggest importer of iron ore, China was listed as importing 104.96m tonnes in November which was a huge 14.6% increase than just the month before in October where it imported 91.61m tonnes.
Data from customs shows that China has imported a total of 1.04b tonnes of iron ore from Jan-November 2021.
