New Chinese Operated Port Opens in Israel
New Port Terminal in Israel for China Operations
For the next 25 years the China Shanghai International Port Group (SIPG) will operate Israels newest Chinese operated port terminal.
On Wednesday, Sept 1st, Israel opened the new 1.7B dollar project on Israels largest port, Haifa which is located on the northern mediterranean coast.
The new Haifa terminal will be able to dock vessels approximately 400 meters long and carrying 18,000 containers.
