OOCL Launching First Ever China to US rail/sea Services
OOCL
A new rail-sea service connecting China to the US east coast was introduced on August 6th by the Hong Kong-based shipping company OOCL.
This is a combination of the Chang An China-Europe block train service from Xian to Kaliningrad, which feeds into the OOCL service from Bremerhaven and will then go into various US East Coast ports.
This will be the first of its kind ocean carrier service, linking China and North America by using the Asia-Europe Land Bridge and the Atlantic Ocean.
OOCL Logistics and OOCL’s multimodal container service launched on Wednesday in Xian.
