“No Coal Cargo Policy” for Eastern Pacific Shipping

Eastern Pacific Announces They Will No Longer Haul Coal
Aiming to help the global transition from the use of fossil fuels, Singapore-based Eastern Pacific Shipping (EPS) advised that a new “no coal cargo policy” has been introduced and as such, they will no longer transport cargoes of coal on their bulk carrier vessels.
EPS CEO Cyril Ducau stated, “With a significant portion of our commercially managed fleet being in the dry bulk segment, we aim to play a small part in making one of the world’s worst pollutants that much harder to access.”
