MSC and Shell sign collaboration agreement to help decarbonisation
Major shipping line and oil major agree to work together to wean maritime industry off fossil fuels.
Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) and Shell International Petroleum Company Ltd. (Shell) have signed a collaboration agreement to work closely together to help speed up shipping’s transition to non-fossil fuels.
The two companies say they plan to develop a range of safe, sustainable and financially viable technologies that will reduce emissions from existing operations and help move the industry towards a net-zero emissions future.
