Container Distribution Center Joint Partnership between SIPG and MSC Finalized

Shanghai International Port Group (SIPG) and Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) have recently signed an agreement to both develop an empty container distribution center which is in part aimed at improving services at Shanghai’s port.

The idea is optimize improved results on empty container handling for SIPG which is China’s busiest port operator.

The distribution center for empty containers will be developed at Yanshan port in Shanghai and SIPG will begin promoting construction this year.
