Sea Trials Begin for World’s Largest LNG Container Ship
Tiger Gas Launches World’s Largest 15,000 tonnes LNG Container Ship
What is known to be the world’s largest ever liquid natural gas (LNG) container ship, with the capacity to carry an approximate 15,000 tonnes, the Tiger Maanshan is currently performing sea trials after just being ordered in 2020 by Tiger Gas.
Built by Yangzijiang Shipbuilding the 700 LNG ISO tank containers will have the capacity to transport throughout Chinese inland waters and internationally.
Being the first of four sister ships that were ordered, the Tiger Maanshan is expected to be delivered at the end of 2021.
