Jaxport Reports Record for 2021 Fiscal Year

Jaxport, the Jacksonville Port Authority has announced their fiscal year (FY) container volume numbers to report a record in operations after continued increases.

For the 2021 FY Jaxport has reported a 10% increase from 2020 at moving more than 1.4m teu.

Although congestion has plagued other ports in the US due to the pandemic and other issues, Jaxport has had to deal with zero congestion which has allowed them to continue progress as needed.

Jaxport CEO stated, “Achieving a container record and strong vehicle volumes while maintaining our efficiencies—all in the middle of a pandemic—speaks to the resiliency and capability of Jacksonville’s maritime community.”
