Cosco Shipping to Spend Over 1 Billion on New Containerships
Cosco Shipping Orders Ten 16,000 teu boxships
Ten 16,000teu containerships have been contracted with Cosco Shipping Holdings via its subsidiary OOIL.
Dalian Cosco KHI Ship Engineering and Nantong Cosco KHI Ship Engineering will be building the vessels at a cost of $1.576B with a forecasted window to deliver them, between 2024 and 2025.
The OOIL Group has a 14th Five Year Plan to increase the capacity of its fleet.
