24 Containerships Ordered by Evergreen
Evergreen Expands and Orders More Containerships
A new order has been placed by Evergreen to expand its fleet with another 24 containerships that will be built at CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding Company Limited.
In a deal that’s costing an estimated $958-$1.1 billion, Evergreen Marine has ordered eleven of each 3,000 TEU vessels & 2,300 TEU ships and two smaller units at 1,000 TEU.
This recent order aids in Evergreen’s fleet renewal program.
