Covid-19 Breakout on Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship
Six Passengers Test Positive Aboard Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship
During routine testing, six passengers who were on the Adventure of the Seas cruise ship were found to have tested positive for COVID-19.
The passengers had all been inoculated, and were traveling separately. The other two members of the group were children who had not been vaccinated.
Following their status, the visitors were immediately quarantined, and their travel parties and all other close contacts were tracked down and tested to make sure they were clear of the virus.
Passengers tested positive on the sixth day of their seven-night journey beginning in Nassau, Bahamas, continuing to CocoCay, a private island on Grand Bahama Island, and to Cozumel, Mexico.
Royal Caribbean’s first scheduled voyage resumed when the Adventure of the Seas left her berth on June 12th.
