Disruptions to Maritime Food Supply
MCTC, maritime leading international catering management provider is seeking to make food suppliers obsolete from the coming quarantine restrictions. Countries around the world are either entering new quarantine restrictions or returning to them and in order to not disrupt the food supply, MCTC is asking for permission to be exempt.
Shortages in dry items, meat and fish have already been an issue in obtaining and with that, purchasers have had to get creative w the items that they buy in order to provide similar tastes and proper nutrients for seafarers.
MCTC has been working with approved suppliers to avoid shortages. From receiving port of call schedules for vessels in advance, to trying to obtain offers from audited food supply companies.
