Maersk Ship Anchored Due to Suspected Covid-19 Outbreak

A 2010-built Maersk Emden 13,100TEU container ship was anchored on November 22 at the Chiwan Container Terminal in China’s Shenzhen port where it continues to remain amid a possible onboard Covid-19 outbreak.
Mediterranean Shipping Company stated, “As per standard procedures, the affected crew member has been isolated, and the remaining crew onboard Maersk Emden will be tested and monitored for symptoms.”
