Mask Orders Extended at US Ports
Extension Imposed for Mask Order
On August 17, the Biden administration revealed that they planned to extend requirements for ferry, port, and all other public transportation passengers to continue to wear masks.
The TSA’s current transportation mask order will expire on September 13th.
To comply with this Executive Order, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requires passengers to wear face masks when boarding ships, buses, and airports, as well as when flying on passenger aircraft, public transportation, and railroads and buses that operate on fixed routes.
It will be weeks to even months before the administration decides whether or not to lift the imposed travel restrictions, officials have stated.
