The US Navy has a mandatory Covid-19 vaccination program for its sailors to complete by November 28 and currently, there are still approximately 7,000 sailors who have not finished the process; an estimated 98% of all sailors have at least had the first shot, however, all shots whether a one-dose or two-dose method need to be completed by November 14 to qualify for full immunity by the latter deadline.

The US Navy has now officially said it is making plans to discharge any senior officials or sailors whether it be done as honorable or general.

The Navy released a statement stating, “An unvaccinated senior leader without a pending or approved exemption calls into question the Navy’s trust and confidence regarding their ability to ensure unit readiness or to maintain good order and discipline.”

The COVID Consolidated Disposition Authority will handle any cases of sailors that are refusing to be inoculated.
