Ningbo-Zhoushan Trucking Logistics Have Slowed
Delays at Ningbo-Zhoushan a Concern as Covid-19 Infections Rise
The trucking industry is now being affected by the latest outbreak of Covid-19 cases in Ningbo, China which has disrupted production at the Port of Ningbo-Zhoushan.
The port itself is still operating and open for business as usual, however, due to the rise of positive infections in Zhejiang and Beilun districts in Ningbo which have been locked down for quarantine, individuals who are working at the port must provide a negative Covid-19 test.
Services have been suspended for trucking in the lockdown areas and current Covid-19 policies in place are requiring other trucking service providers to provide proper certificates of approval for their vehicles and drivers which is significantly slowing the process of production.
