Covid-19 Outbreak Aboard US Navy Warship on Deployment

All Crew Vaccinated Yet Covid Positive Sailors on Navy Vessel Announced
A US Navy warship, the USS Milwaukee, that left for deployment on December 14 from Florida was in port at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay on a scheduled stop when Covid-19 was detected in some of the crew members.
An amount of sailors aboard who were found positive was not mentioned however, it was stated that all 100+ crew members were 100% vaccinated.
Those who tested positive are having mild symptoms and they have been isolated aboard the ship.
The Navy released a statement saying, “The ship is following an aggressive mitigation strategy in accordance with Navy and CDC guidelines.”
