Norwegian Cruise Lines Reports Loss
Norwegian Cruise Lines is Off to a Rough Start
Getting back to cruising has proved to be quite costly for Norwegian Cruise Lines after they’ve reported quarterly losses on November 3.
Stating numbers from 3rd quarter which just ended on September 30, Norwegian has noted a company net loss of $845.9 million.
U.S. ports have resumed cruise ship operations as of June 2021, but coupled with the continued Covid-19 pandemic, quarantines, tests and other factors, passenger capacity has been low.
Norwegian is staying positive as it does have bookings through 2022 and is expecting a more profitable upcoming year.
