Port Tampa Bay Begins Cruise Operations After 18 Months
Cruises Begin Departing at Port Tampa Bay
On October 16 the Port Tampa Bay in Florida will be active as it’s the first day they will re-start cruise departures.
After being closed since March 2020, Royal Caribbean’s Serenade of the Seas is the first vessel to depart from the port with other vessels from Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Norwegian and other cruise lines scheduled to depart throughout the end of this year.
New safety procedures have been put in place at Royal Caribbean, 50% capacity of passengers aboard as well as proof of negative Covid-19 results being required for any passengers 12 years of age or older.
