Jacksonville Port Authority to Form New Cyber Security Co-Op

A new initiative has been formed called the Northeast Florida Maritime Information Exchange (NEFL-MIX) which consists of a new partnership between the Jacksonville Port Authority (Jaxport), and the non-profit Maritime Transportation System Information Sharing and Analysis Centre (MTS-ISAC).

NEFL-MIX was formed by the two in efforts to share new cyber-security information and note cyber-security preparedness measures which makes it the first Cyber-Security Information Exchange initiative to launch in Florida state.

Jaxport CEO Eric Gree stated, “We are thrilled to launch this important initiative to protect our maritime community from cyber threats and ensure that our port-related businesses can continue to do the important work they do to keep cargo moving and people working throughout Northeast Florida.”
