RWE to Build Denmark’s Largest Offshore Wind Farm

A lottery draw was held on December 1 to determine the winner to build Thor, what is said to be Denmark’s largest offshore wind farm equipped with the capacity of an estimated 1 GW, to produce energy for approximately 1.4 million Danish homes.

German-based RWE won the lottery to build the wind farm and expects Thor to be in operation by 2027 after they complete the build off the west coast of Denmark.
