P&O Ferry Detained Following Inspection in UK

UK Authorities Detain P&O Ferry
British authorities have detained yet another ferry belonging to P&O Ferries, a subsidiary of Dubai-based DP World, due to the failure of an inspection. British authorities have so far detained six of P&O’s vessels in total, though two have since returned to service.
P&O Ferries first drew the attention of the British government when it fired over 800 UK-based workers without notice in March.
The ferry, known as the Spirit of Britain, transits between a French city and a town in England, and its detainment is expected to create severe road congestion over the coming Easter holiday.
