Three injured at Titanic museum as iceberg wall collapses

A replica of the iceberg that sank the Titanic has collapsed at a visitor attraction in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, injuring three people. The wall measured 15ft by 28ft and consisted of real ice visitors could touch, “grown” using a filtered refrigerated water system.
In a social media post, the owners of the Titanic Museum Attraction in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee said: “Our iceberg wall collapsed and injured three guests, who were taken to the hospital. At this time, we do not know the extent of their injuries, and our thoughts and prayers continue to be with all who were affected, including the first-responders.”
“The iceberg wall does not currently exist, and the affected area has been blocked off, for the time being. We anticipate it will take at least four weeks for the iceberg to rebuild,” said the owners, Mary Kellogg Joslyn and John Joslyn.
The museum claims the outdoor replica is the biggest in existence and say it houses more than 400 artefacts from the doomed ship that sank after hitting a real iceberg in 1912, with the loss of an estimated 1,500 lives.
