Dutch line Spliethoff, have announced that they are awaiting delivery of two new vessels, the MV Brouwersgracht and MV Bloemgracht. The multi-purpose vessels feature a DP2 and station-keeping ability up to Bft 6, making them ideal for large-volume supply and the delivery of heavy cargo offshore.

The ships will have two Huisman 500mt mast cranes which will make them suitable for a range of heavy-lift applications, and in accord with Spliethoff’s drive for more eco-friendly operations, the vessels feature a fuel-efficient propulsion and power generation system with scrubbers and an SCR system.

12,500 mt deadweight, two tween deck levels and 5,900m2 of total deck space will give the B-Type significantly higher intake than existing offshore vessels. According to the yard’s schedule, the ships will be available for operations in the Summer of 2022.
