DKT Allseas, part of Allseas Global Logistics, will add critical cargo volume between China and Liverpool, starting on 4th April, says the operator of Port of Liverpool, Peel Ports. Two additional sailings will leave on 22nd and 25th April, in an effort to ease strain on UK supply chains.

The service will have a 28-day transit time and the vessels will be feeder size, rather than Panama or larger. Peel Ports says the service will offer numerous benefits to cargo owners as it will significantly reduce the chance of port delays and will ship directly to the heart of UK markets. Allseas will also guarantee that if booked, a cargo will ship.

Darren Wright, Managing Director Allseas Global Logistics said: “This service which is under our own direct charter, has been born out of necessity and frustration with the current supply and demand issue. By taking a progressive approach we can offer a guaranteed service, without deviation or additional Port calls from Shanghai and Ningbo into Liverpool, at a sensible price.”
