Video: Feeder vessel capsizes in Port of Castellón
Three injured and two missing after container feeder vessel, the Nazmiye Ana, capsizes while alongside in the Spanish port of Castellón.
A Panama-flagged feeder vessel, the 2,085-dwt, Nazmiye Ana has capsized while alongside at the Centenario dock in the port of Castellón, Spain.
Two crew members are missing and the port is currently closed while authorities conduct a SAR operation.
Three other mariners were injured in the accident which happened at 20:50 local time Friday evening.
It is reported that 10 people were thrown into the water when the vessel lost stability and capsized while conducting cargo operations.
Port police, harbour tugs, SAR teams, and the Red Cross are all assisting.
