Breaking news: Russia fires warning shots at Royal Navy destroyer in the Black Sea
Moscow says shots were fired after HMS Defender entered Russian territorial waters.

Russia’s Interfax News Agency says a Russian military ship has fired warning shots at the British Royal Navy destroyer HMS Defender after it entered Russian territorial waters in the Black Sea.
The news agency was quoting a Russian defence ministry statement made today.
Interfax also said that a Russian jet dropped bombs in the destroyer’s path and that Defender left Russian waters soon after, claiming the RN vessel had entered as far as 3km into Russian territory.
