VIDEO: 63 Rescued, 4 Missing After Sea Platform Tilts in China

Chinese workers plunged into the waters after the construction platform SHENG PING 001 mysteriously tipped to its side, and at least 4 people are now being reported as missing off the coast of Huizhou, China.

Of the 63 individuals on the platform, some plunged into the water while others were safely recovered with the help of the rescue teams, who have reported that 4 people are still missing.

The platform was said to have been used to build wind energy equipment in the open waters.

Search-and-rescue activities using helicopters are ongoing as the cause of the tragedy is still being investigated.

The platform has since been stabilized.
