Alibaba to Set Up Ocean Freight Service Between China and South Korea
Direct Freight Service from China to South Korea for Alibaba
Alibaba’s logistics subsidiary, Cainiao Network, is establishing a six times a week marine freight connection between China and South Korea.
Ships will arrive in South Korea in 12 hours via Shandong province in China. The goal is to deliver AliExpress products to South Korean customers in five to three days at a 30% discount.
Cainiao launched end-to-end logistics and supply-chain services for local businesses in South Korea last October and recently became a logistics partner for SME exporters.
