U.S. Embassy Issues Warning for El Salvador Beaches
Rip Currents and Accidents Causes Warning from U.S. Embassy
Swimming and surfing at El Salvador’s tourist beaches now come with a warning as there a have been very dangerous conditions reported.
Rip currents, undertows and other conditions have caused a rise in U.S. citizen and foreigner related deaths this year, even for the most experienced swimmers.
Beach goers are being asked to completely asses any risks they might encounter when attending the beach and taking part in water activities as there are not always lifeguards on duty and advised that search and rescue services are limited.
