2 day Negative Covid-19 Results Now Needed to Board Cruise Ships

A mandate by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has cruise lines scrambling to keep up with the latest requirements for travel.

In the most recent cruise travel preparation announcements, it is now mandatory for the passenger to provide negative Covid-19 results within two days before embarkation, from a previous three days notification.

U.S. departures for Celebrity, Holland America Line, MSC Cruises and Royal Caribbean have all updated their policies as of September 3rd to reflect the new changes.

Companies like Norwegian Cruise Line and Disney Cruise Line have not updated their policy as of yet as they both conduct mandatory pier-side rapid antigen or PCR testing on their passengers before boarding can even commence.
