UK Welcomes the World’s Largest Ship at its Dock

The Ever Ace, with a capacity of 23,992 containers and a length of 400m-long (1,300ft) has pulled into dock at Felixstowe, Suffolk on September 12. Fortunately for Felixstowe they have the capacity to welcome such large ships as they have multiple times in the past.
The Ever Ace will continue out on her maiden voyage on September 15 as she leaves for Rotterdam before heading back through the Suez Canal.
Evergreen Marine has plans to build an additional 11 supersized containerships to add to its fleet.
