South Korea Prepares for their First Aircraft Carrier Build
First Aircraft Carrier for South Korea to be Built
CV eXperimental (CVX) which will be the first aircraft carrier for South Korea is in preparations to be built.
The project is being built by Babcock International and Hyundai Heavy Industries who jointly signed an MOU which will include a Short Takeoff – Vertical Landing (STOVL) as part of the design.
Released and advised in December 2020, this CVX carrier build project is in relation to the 2020-2024 Medium-Term Defense plan.
