First Ever Missile Launch Via Drone Ship

Publisert

The Ranger, an unmanned uncrewed drone ship by the U.S. Navy successfully launched an SM-6 missile which has the ability to engage with drones, aircraft and other cruise missiles. A huge feat as this is the first time ever.

The Ranger vessel is ideal as it can carry an increased amount of missiles while at sea due to its flat cargo area and long design.

The SM-6 missile is one of their most advanced missiles since it can attack enemy vessels at Mach 3.5.
