Fishing Vessel Safety Concerns for NTSB
Fishing vessel safety is still very much a concern in today’s modern day industry. Deeming that there is much needed room for improvement in regards to ship safety, ship accidents, general and emergency training, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is scheduling a virtual roundtable to discuss these issues.
Hosted by the Chair of the NTSB, this roundtable is expected to tackle safety concerns, how they can be improved, discuss any recommendations and how to begin implementation of those new safety measures.
On October 14th many attendees from industry leaders to fishing vessel operators, safety exports, government officials and even fishing vessel accident survivors will be in attendance and are featured to discuss these concerns so that proper measures can be put into place.
