First Renewable LNG Bunkering in Florida

JAX LNG, located in the area of the St. John’s River in Jacksonville, Florida has began services of its first liquified natural gas (LNG) bunkering ship making history for the US.

The first ship which received a mixture of LNG and renewable LNG bunker fuel was the Isla Bella which is an LNG containership from TOTE Maritime Puerto Rico.

Mike Noone, President of TOTE Maritime Puerto Rico said, “We’re proud to partner with JAX LNG, which has continued to solidify its position as the industry leader in the clean fuel revolution.”
