UK’s Wood Wins Deal with Shell and NAM

A 3 year operations and maintenance contract has been awarded to Wood, a UK engineering firm by Shell and Nederlandse Aardolie Maatschappij (NAM).

The contract includes options to extend, plans to asses cost reductions, and extension of production life throughout onshore and offshore assets for Shell UK and NAM.

In addition to the initial contract, Wood is planning to create a regional location in the area of Great Yarmouth in England.

The president of Wood’s operations business in Europe, Middle East and Africa area stated, “Wood is committed to the Southern North Sea region and this contract award further positions our business for growth as we focus on expanding and broadening our delivery in the region.”
